Reviews at a Glance
- Client & Family Support Groups
Group therapy is a vital component of addiction recovery treatment, considered as important and effective (sometimes even more so) than individual therapy. Benefits include reducing isolation and loneliness and providing the opportunity to learn from others in recovery. In the addiction setting, group therapy is run by trained professionals who guide participants toward a shared goal of recovery.
- Equine Therapy
A form of animal therapy, equine therapy involves visiting, working with and sometimes riding horses as a way to create a metaphoric relationship that leads to life-altering insights.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
The focus of cognitive behavioral therapy (also called CBT) is helping people to understand the thoughts and emotions that underlie their addiction with the goal of learning new, healthier and more productive ways to understand and express themselves.
- Residential Treatment
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.

[At Therapia] I got close to my Heavenly Father again and know I have an important purpose here on earth. [I enjoyed] Bonding with my sisters and staff here and finding out who I really am and to stand in my truth… it is a very good program and you learn so much about yourself.Tawni F
I had come to a place of complete darkness and hopelessness in my life – if I had waited any longer to get help I don’t think I would be alive today. The transformation I made in those two months is truly astonishing to me. With the help of the staff and other clients I was able to completely change my life. I learned tools and took steps that continue to keep me clean and sober today. I will always be grateful to Addiction Recovery Group for saving my life and guiding me to a life of freedom.Randy S
