Taylor Recovery Center Reviews and Ratings Details
The following is based on a combination of Surveys of Alumni, Staff, Loved Ones, and Reviews and Ratings from around the web.
Reviews at a Glance
- Client & Family Support Groups
Group therapy is a vital component of addiction recovery treatment, considered as important and effective (sometimes even more so) than individual therapy. Benefits include reducing isolation and loneliness and providing the opportunity to learn from others in recovery. In the addiction setting, group therapy is run by trained professionals who guide participants toward a shared goal of recovery.
- Intensive Outpatient
Patients who undergo intensive outpatient treatment continue to live at home and sometimes go to school or work while participating in a highly structured treatment protocol that is focused on ending substance abuse. Programs vary in terms of how much treatment patients receive, how often and for how long. Some facilities design individualized intensive outpatient treatment programs.
- Aftercare Support
Addiction recovery does not end with discharge after completing a rehab program. Facilities that offer aftercare planning and/or support work with patients to ensure sustainable recovery by helping to plan and make arrangements for transitional or sober living, help with housing, vocational counseling, etc.
- Individualized Treatment
Some facilities have an addiction treatment protocol that all patients or clients are expected to follow, while others customize or individualize treatment based on a person’s unique needs and circumstances. Factors that may affect treatment decisions include age, lifestyle, medical conditions, type of drug, religious beliefs, etc.
This is a wonderful facility with a great sober community. I can attribute Taylor Recovery Center for my 16 months clean. The community, residents and therapists are caring and supportive. The bonus is I am able to have my pets with me.C.M.
This is place probably the best experience I will ever have in my entire life. I got the help, experience, tools, and structure I needed. I now feel like ive become a better functioning member of society. Now I live my life happy free and sober.M.S.
I lived at Taylor recovery center from 8/25/14- 5/01/15, and I had an amazing experience with my stay. I now am over 2 years sober and was able to grow and learn to cope with life while in a safe environment. Tommy was always a friendly ear to my problems and helped me through some tough times. The staff was helpful and respectful. Not to mention the living conditions were better then any place I had been before, good food and good people. I still have 6 friends I went threw Taylor with that are still sober today 2 years later, and I remained close to. Over all my time at Taylor was a blessing and I couldn't have asked for a better place to grow in my recovery.M.I.
I was looking for a place newly in sobriety and was having a difficult time finding the right fit for me. The very first time I got in touch with Taylor they were extremely helpful and would go to any lengths to get me what I needed to best help me in my recovery. The apartment style living is extremely convenient because I am a student and it allowed me enough space to continue my studies successfully. Also the fact I was able to bring my dog with me made all the difference. Taylor provided enough structure for me to transition back into life.M.H.
Place is awesome.Taylor House made recovery fun, instead of feeling like a punishment. The staff is beyond accomadating. Tons of cool people to hang out with, and lots of planned and unplanned activities to take part in. And animals are allowed. Its just like living in an apartment with friends, except sobriety is central to all that goes on.P.V.
This place is amazing! I couldn't believe how friendly the staff were. The atmosphere was great. Thank you, Taylor recovery for giving me my life back! I spent years in a dark place unaware there was an option like this for help.C.G.

For those seeking addiction treatment for themselves or a loved one, the Recovery.org helpline is a private and convenient solution.
Calls to any general helpline (non-facility specific 1-8XX numbers) for your visit will be answered by American Addiction Centers (AAC).
We are standing by 24/7 to discuss your treatment options. Our representatives work solely for AAC and will discuss whether an AAC facility may be an option for you.
Our helpline is offered at no cost to you and with no obligation to enter into treatment. Neither Recovery.org nor AAC receives any commission or other fee that is dependent upon which treatment provider a visitor may ultimately choose.
