Treatment Insights

At Sacred Space Retreats, individuals struggling with addiction are invited to participate in a residential substance abuse treatment program that emphasizes holistic therapies as a means of treating addiction. Situated in a rural, mountainous region of Middletown, Calif., Sacred Space Retreats incorporates the natural environment into individuals' recovery process, encouraging patients to reassess diet and lifestyle choices as a means of overcoming addiction. Rather than prescribing traditional withdrawal medications such as Buprenorphine, Sacred Space provides patients with non-narcotic natural supplementation to offset withdrawal symptoms. Viewing the individual as a holistic whole, Sacred Space Retreats encourages patients to investigate the source of their addiction, using therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to assist patients in understanding and confronting the sources of their addictions.

Are you suffering from withdrawal symptoms from Paxil, Prozac, Wellbutrin, Klonapin, Xanax, Oxycotin, Alcohol, cigarettes, Methamphetamines and similar types of anti-depressants, anti-anxiety, opiates and tranquilizers,or other coping substances? Withdrawing off of these medications can be much easier when you have mind, body, spirit support. Martial Arts

Martial arts can be an important tool in the rebuilding of your success. This involves exercises where we demonstrate some movements and you have to repeat and replicate the movement. By practicing the same moves over and over you cause for your body to eventually submit to what your mind is telling it to do. This makes you become more in alignment mind and body. And in this way you get stronger from the inside out. To become ONE.
