Resurgence California's treatment philosophy is to focus on the patient as a whole and treating them as more than their addiction. We understand that there are multiple factors surrounding addiction and we strive to create well rounded treatment plans that incorporate these. We create a caring and supportive environment free from judgment and punitive interactions allowing the patient to focus on their recovery and overall well being. We utilize multiple modalities of treatment and ensure that each treatment plan is tailored specifically to individual needs. We incorporate: evidenced based psychotherapy interventions, mindfulness and meditation, education for families and loved ones on supportive approaches, introduction to 12 Step and Alternative community forums to support recovery, individual case management, resource management, and multiple other modalities based on individual need. It is the overall goal to create an environment that supports and encourages sustained recovery and improved quality of life following treatment.

- Dual Diagnosis/Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment
These two terms describe a person who is not only addicted to drugs or alcohol, but also has a mental or emotional illness, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Facilities that treat patients with dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders provide psychiatric treatment in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
The focus of cognitive behavioral therapy (also called CBT) is helping people to understand the thoughts and emotions that underlie their addiction with the goal of learning new, healthier and more productive ways to understand and express themselves.

How Our Helpline Works
For those seeking addiction treatment for themselves or a loved one, the Recovery.org helpline is a private and convenient solution.
Calls to any general helpline (non-facility specific 1-8XX numbers) for your visit will be answered by American Addiction Centers (AAC).
We are standing by 24/7 to discuss your treatment options. Our representatives work solely for AAC and will discuss whether an AAC facility may be an option for you.
Our helpline is offered at no cost to you and with no obligation to enter into treatment. Neither Recovery.org nor AAC receives any commission or other fee that is dependent upon which treatment provider a visitor may ultimately choose.
For more information on AAC's commitment to ethical marketing and treatment practices, or to learn more about how to select a treatment provider, visit our About AAC page.
