Sober finally for 11 months and counting after g and g. One day at a time.My mental clarity has never been better
I felt very neglected. My peers helped more than the doctors, therapists, and \"trained staff\"
Absolutely amazing program! Highly recommended!
So this review is very detailed, and gives a review while also giving information of what the program is like. I apologize for the length but I felt like it was necessary to go in depth, as I feel tha...
What do they mean holistic...One male staff member is more interested in padding his pockets. There was more emphasis with cell phones then any therapy. More time riding on a van from the old motel ...

The food they forced me to eat was unaccomadating, the food and vitamin combinations made me feel ill.

It saved my life!!
Good experience. Over all Health and Holistic perspective and personal treatment were strengths of the facility. However, they were not good at the mental health aspect.
I found the facility to be very effective.
By following the treatment plan outlined by G&G I have remained sober for over 10 years. The staff is caring, thorough, and effective.
Dealt with all issues; they bring out core issues and treat them wholly. Only downfall was the facility's location.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a highly specific, research-validated form of therapy that can help people overcome traumatic stress, anxiety and depression. With EMDR, a trained practitioner uses bilateral stimulation, eye movement and touch to stimulate parts of the brain as a patient recounts certain experiences and memories as a way to more thoroughly process uncomfortable, painful feelings.
- Holistic Therapy
Facilities that offer “holistic therapy” see and treat patients in the context of their entire lives and health status. They treat the “whole person,” not just the addiction.

How Our Helpline Works
For those seeking addiction treatment for themselves or a loved one, the Recovery.org helpline is a private and convenient solution.
Calls to any general helpline (non-facility specific 1-8XX numbers) for your visit will be answered by American Addiction Centers (AAC).
We are standing by 24/7 to discuss your treatment options. Our representatives work solely for AAC and will discuss whether an AAC facility may be an option for you.
Our helpline is offered at no cost to you and with no obligation to enter into treatment. Neither Recovery.org nor AAC receives any commission or other fee that is dependent upon which treatment provider a visitor may ultimately choose.
For more information on AAC’s commitment to ethical marketing and treatment practices, or to learn more about how to select a treatment provider, visit our About AAC page.
