With over 75 years of combined experience, our staff is uniquely qualified to guide you through the recovery journey. Instead of transitioning from one treatment facility to a separate intensive outpatient treatment center, clients will stay with Amethyst for the duration of their treatment. From the first day of treatment, clients will form bonds with staff and with each other that will last through sober living and beyond. This continuity of care allows for a deeper level of trust and understanding between clients and their therapy team.
Amethyst Recovery Center Reviews and Ratings Details
The following is based on a combination of Surveys of Alumni, Staff, Loved Ones, and Reviews and Ratings from around the web.
Reviews at a Glance
- Individualized Treatment
Some facilities have an addiction treatment protocol that all patients or clients are expected to follow, while others customize or individualize treatment based on a person’s unique needs and circumstances. Factors that may affect treatment decisions include age, lifestyle, medical conditions, type of drug, religious beliefs, etc.
- Trauma & Associative Awareness Therapy (AAT)
Associative Awareness Therapy (AAT) uses the brain’s innate ability to adapt to change in a healing way, essentially “retraining” the brain to respond differently to familiar memories of trauma or pain.
- Holistic Therapy
Facilities that offer “holistic therapy” see and treat patients in the context of their entire lives and health status. They treat the “whole person,” not just the addiction.
Amethyst Recovery Center has changed my life. I never thought I would truly be looking forward to being involved in long term forever recovery or be able to "get it". Something was always missing. While I was in Amethyst I was able to find what I was missing when I participated in the Alpha Series Program, which is a spiritual not religious based class taught by awesome real people who really love and care about our recovery. My whole perspective on recovery is now so positive it is amazing!!! The entire staff at Amethyst are very accommodating and they genuinely care about every clients well being and recovery they bend over backwards to try to save lives. Thank you for saving my life everyone at Amethyst clients included!June K.
This place is amazing.... The staff taught me so much and really helped me gain a life worth living.... Without out them I can honestly say I probably wouldn't be sober today! So grateful to all that they offer because it's more than just getting away you get to work through the hard things you've been through and have the hand to lead you through the darker times into a beautiful outcomeKeely R.
So grateful for the people at Amethyst. Grateful for their compassion for Moms, their professionalism, and their sincere willingness to serve in the trenches of addiction. Most grateful for the genuine love they have for the clients that come through their doors. Few people in this world will journey with those who are bound by addiction. Thank God they are doing their part to help set our sons and daughters free.Anonymous

How Our Helpline Works
For those seeking addiction treatment for themselves or a loved one, the Recovery.org helpline is a private and convenient solution.
Calls to any general helpline (non-facility specific 1-8XX numbers) for your visit will be answered by American Addiction Centers (AAC).
We are standing by 24/7 to discuss your treatment options. Our representatives work solely for AAC and will discuss whether an AAC facility may be an option for you.
Our helpline is offered at no cost to you and with no obligation to enter into treatment. Neither Recovery.org nor AAC receives any commission or other fee that is dependent upon which treatment provider a visitor may ultimately choose.
For more information on AAC’s commitment to ethical marketing and treatment practices, or to learn more about how to select a treatment provider, visit our About AAC page.
