Sunspire Health Texas Reviews and Ratings Details
The following is based on a combination of Surveys of Alumni, Staff, Loved Ones, and Reviews and Ratings from around the web.
Reviews at a Glance
- Individualized Treatment
At Sunspire Health Texas the patient is at the center of care. All patients will receive a comprehensive assessment during intake in order to design a treatment plan that is individualized to their unique needs, medical history and lifestyle. Ongoing assessments allow the treatment to adapt and evolve as the patient progresses for truly individualized care.
- 12-Step, SMART, Celebrate Recovery
While the 12-Step self-help approach to recovery is widely utilized in Texas, this approach does not suit everyone in treatment for addiction. Sunspire Health Texas offers SMART Recovery and Celebrate Recovery as two alternatives, one based in science and the other based in Christian-faith. Having options for all treatment needs and lifestyles is an important aspect of Sunspire Health's individualized approach to care.
- Mind-Body Wellness
With a state-of-the-art fitness center and gym, two personal trainers, and a dietitian on staff, patients at Sunspire Health Texas will be able to develop an exercise regimen and dietary plan with one-on-one sessions to address their individual nutritional and fitness needs. Having an exercise routine in place after treatment can be lifesaving as it keeps people healthy and focused on healing while providing an outlet to deal with stressors and triggers they may encounter in day-to-day life.
- Spiritual Support
Sunspire Health Texas offers spiritual support for patients who wish to incorporate their religious beliefs into their treatment program. Many people find strength in their faith and benefit from having their religious practice go hand-in-hand with recovery. Texas offers spiritual support through the services of a pastoral counselor who can guide patients spiritually whether Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Jewish. There are two hours of worship on Sunday and Bible study offered Monday and Wednesday nights, but the pastoral counselor will also offer non-denominational spiritual groups.
- Internet Addiction Support
For many patients, a co-occurring addiction to internet in the form of social media, shopping, gambling, online infidelity, pornography, or an addiction to electronic devices (cell phones) in general, will manifest during treatment for a substance use disorder. Sunspire Health Texas has a clinical team who are experienced in helping patients address these co-occurring process addictions for a whole-patient approach to treatment.
- Sexual Trauma/Sex Addiction
With a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist on staff, Sunspire Health Texas is able to address a history of sexual trauma or sex addiction that may be an underlying cause of a substance use disorder.
Addiction recovery does not end with discharge after completing a rehab program. Facilities that offer aftercare planning and/or support work with patients to ensure sustainable recovery by helping to plan and make arrangements for transitional or sober living, help with housing, vocational counseling, etc.
- Alumni Network
After treatment at Sunspire Health Texas, all patients are inducted into the nationwide alumni network, a source of life-long recovery support facilitated by the alumni coordinators. Meetings, parties, annual reunions are all part of the alumni programming to offer continual support!
