    Diana Benjamin Rodriguez, LCSW, CADC - Clinical Director

    Diana has over twenty years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups in hospital, clinical outpatient settings, private practice, employee assistance programs and community based counseling ministries. Besides being a seasoned therapist, Diana has held director and supervisory positions where she has trained and supervised mental health providers, addictions therapists, license-eligible counselors and graduate interns. As a result of her extensive experience, specialized instruction in addictions and family systems and continual training, Diana makes available life-changing resources and evidence-based strategies to her clients. Diana’s primary approach to counseling is holistic and person centered, it addresses the emotional, physical, social and spiritual needs of each client through an integration of complementary treatment approaches (Family Systems, Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical Behavior informed therapy). While Diana’s personal beliefs are based on Christian principles, she works successfully with clients of all faiths. Diana believes that addressing one’s spirituality and finding purpose is central in the healing process. Through the therapeutic relationship, Diana cultivates personal awareness and encourages clients to take responsibility for the desired life changes. Diana is dedicated to providing hope and leading clients to a place of healing and personal growth. Diana received her Master of Social Work with a specialization in clinical counseling at Hunter College School of Social Work, City University of New York. Her post-graduate training in addictions was from the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health in New York City. During her employment with Prince William Hospital, Manassas, Virginia, in the late 1980s, Diana received two years of family systems training. Diana’s supervisory preparation includes the NASW-VA Clinical Supervision Certification Program training.

    Vanessa Vergnetti, ND, PhD - Chief Executive Officer

    Vanessa Vergnetti is the CEO of Sagebrush, and she takes a personal interest in the progress of each client. She is passionately committed to assisting those suffering from addictions, in identifying blockages to health and the joyful experience of life. Creating sacred space where transformation can occur is at the core of her life’s work. Addictions can only be adequately relieved by identifying and addressing the root causes of illness. Restoration of a sense of purpose in one’s life, a deep knowing to who and what they belong, and the knowledge of what their life is about is the central focus of healing. Dr. Vergnetti holds a Masters Degree in Natural Health and a Doctor of Naturopathy Degree. While she has 20 years of experience in alternative treatments to addictions and other chronic and degenerative disease, she remains a perpetual student of life, healing, spirituality and truth.
