Alumni Testimonials
  • There were times when my son was being unreasonable and the Wellness team reached out to me and my son, to bring peace and assist me in establishing boundaries. I can honestly say that I have learned the difference between support and enabling. I would highly recommend Ambrosia to anyone who has a loved one suffering from the disease of addiction.

  • The therapy at Ambrosia has changed my opinion on therapy overall. Without the help of my therapist here, I would have never talked about the things that I was able to start working through while I was in this treatment center. It is a supportive environment with the structure needed to heal and grow as a person. This experience helped me get in touch with who I am outside of being an addict. I am more than grateful to Ambrosia and the team that was here to love me until I could begin love myself.

  • Ambrosia was a very rewarding experience for me. It is not just a drug-free institution. A place where addiction not only ends, but the core issues, which led you to the point where you needed rehabilitation, are addressed. This was truly the most rewarding experience of my life, where I know more about myself, my addiction, and what it is I want for the rest of my life.

  • My experience with Ambrosia has been wonderful. They are very helpful in teaching clients about the disease, being there for mental and emotional support and spreading hope back into your heart. They take their job very professionally while maintaining personal care for each client. Its amazing to know that there is a place addicts can go to get the top level of care needed for a successful.

  • Ambrosia was there for me when I wasn't there for myself.

  • Coming to Ambrosia, I didn't know what to expect. As soon as I settled in, I knew I had made the right decision. Moving away from my home up north was very uncomfortable at first, but Ambrosia made me feel very welcomed and cared about. I've never seen a treatment center where the counselors care as much as these do. It was a life-changing and insightful experience, to say the least."

“My job is to get each and every client to accept what is, let go of what was and have faith in what will be. The past never has to be the future. In fact, your struggle can make you stronger. You can rebuild and make new, healthy relationships. When a client truly accepts the idea that addiction doesn't have to define them, recovery happens.”
