OLYM 005375Elwha River RestorationTitle of Project: Westside Levee
This project is subject to Amercian Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 reporting requirements.
This action is a 8(a) sole source set-aside, therefore, we are not seeking proposals but are announcing this project as requried by ARRA requirements.
Description: This project consists of the raising of an earthen control levee at the mouth of the Elwha River where it empties into the Strait of Juan De Fuca. The work will consist of raising as well as widening the levee, the addition of rip rap, removal of vegetation on the existing levee, and other minor site improvements. The levee is located on the west bank of the Elwha River approximately 7 miles west of Port Angeles, Washington.
Type of Procurement: A negotiated firm-fixed price, 8a sole source contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The government will consider an offeror's technical capability and price.
Estimated price range: $425K to $475K.
Time for completion: 90 calendar days.
