Special Notes:
NOTE: This project is being advertised as a potential
project being considered for funding by the American
Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Award and Execution
of this agreement is contingent upon this project being
selected for funding by this Act.
The Department reserves the right to add or delete projects
within District 7 on similar type of work at any time during
this contract.
The Scope Meeting will be held at the Oak Park Construction
office located at 2101 N. 49th St., Tampa.
The Design Engineer of Record is tbd.
The CEI cost estimate is $5,910,874.
The Construction cost estimate is $59,527,500.
All questions of any nature regarding this advertisement,
including questions regarding this project's scope of
services, must be directed to the Professional Services Unit
staff, preferably the Contract Administrator, Michele Turosz
at 813-975-6417.
AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009: This project
has been identified by the Department for advertisement and
award subject to criteria and conditions established under
the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (also
known as the Federal Economic Stimulus Bill). There will be
Federal reporting requirements associated with this project,
such as monthly reports of number of jobs created and the
number of jobs retained by the project or activity. The
exact nature and extent of the reporting requirements and
format for data collection are not fully known at this time
but will be provided by the Department when made available
by FHWA, however, award of this contract will be conditioned
upon the Consultant satisfying these requirements. Once the
reporting requirements become fully known, the Department
will incorporate those requirements by way of revisions to
the advertisement and/or contract.
