Published in the Tulsa World, July 25, 2010, Tulsa, OK TULSA TRANSIT LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that proposals for the purchase and installation of energy efficient windows will be received by MTTA at its office, 510 South Rockford, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74120, until 3:00 P.M. local time August 23, 2010. A pre-bid meeting will be held on August 12, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at 510 South Rockford. Proposers will submit their proposal in a sealed envelope marked on the outside as follows: Energy Efficient Windows Each proposal shall be in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) specifications on file in the MTTA office. Copies of the RFP can be obtained by contacting Robyn Hitt, MTTA, 510 South Rockford, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74120, or calling 918/585-1195, or by email at rhitt@tulsatransit.org . Purchase and installation of windows will be paid for with American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding. MTTA hereby notifies all bidders that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement; minority and disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, age or national origin in consideration for an award. Any names appearing on the Comptroller General's list of ineligible contractors is not an eligible proposer. The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity Laws and Regulations. The Board of MTTA reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in proposing. Award of contracts will be made to the best and most responsive and responsible bidder.
