Synopsis: Added: Oct 15, 2009 2:44 pm RECOVERY ACT - SOLICITATION VA248-10-RA-0007, Project 573-09-102, Relocation of Anesthesiology Work Room. This solicitation is issued as an IFB (Invitation for Bid) construction project which is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) firms. This notice is for information only to contractors pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d) under Public Law 109-461, BIDS WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FROM SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES.
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking bids from General Contractors to complete site prep for the relocation of the Anesthesiology Work Room at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, Gainesville, FL, by providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and necessary transportation. Completion time is 90 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The NAICS code is 236220/size standard is 33.5 million. The estimated cost range is $250,000 - $500,000. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specification, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, subject to the Availability of Funds. There are no bid alternatives.
Prospective contractors may acquire solicitation documents which are only available electronically by registering and downloading plans and specifications from the FedBizopps website www.fbo.gov. All solicitation packages must be accessed on line. NO hard copies of this solicitation will be sent out. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. A pre-bid site visit will be held on November 4th @ 10:30AM, LOCATION: Engineering Conference Room EB106-1, Basement, VA Medical center, 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, Florida, attendance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended.
