i kind of see what the writer below is saying but with Florida s population being majority elderly this would be a benefit to do in the long run. We HAVE to start thinking in the long term to avoid making the same mistakes.

With Florida unemployment at over 10%, these funds can be better utilized elsewhere. I realize they were allocated for rapid transit but what good is rapid transit if people who would supposedly use it dont have jobs? Government needs to use common sense on use of funding and rapid transit is not it.
