Traffic in the suburbs of Washington is where the money needs to be spent. they started an extra lane back three years ago and stopped so the money could go to another project that they miss calculated funds on, now the bridge that was built sets and rots with grass on both sides. Reply

Not necessary. Traffic in this area is not congested. Reply

Reply to Cancerned Parent : This is not a valid criticism of this project. It IS in fact a congested area directly surrounding city hall. I'm not sure what this will do to address that, but seriously... do you even live in Philly? Reply

Concerned Parent  Aug-02-2009 09:01:26 PM
Reply to Carl : This are is only congested during peak traffic hours. More lanes will only cause the problem to expand further. Make it more desirable for people to use mass transit mass transit or suffocate the city. More cars and no parking in the city will kill it. Reply
