Hey blame the other guy advocates. Let's face it, all those idiots in DC only care about getting reelected so they can continue fleecing america. To those who support big spending, how long do you think you would get away with running up debt before you went bankrupt. We don't need more taxes so we can run up even bigger debt. We need less spending so we can begin to pay down this debt. Yes Busch was worthless and Obama will prove to be worst than Jimmy Carter, perhaps our worst pres. Reply

Looks like what I have heard is coming true...BIG TAXES in 2010 to pay for all of the so-called stimulus package. Sometime we will have to pay the piper, which will drag our country down further in the next few years. Thankyou obama for your talented experience and wisdom, which is what youi got for 4 years in the Senate, of which 2 years plus were spent campaigning for the job you cant handle..or even make a speech without your teleprompter, of which I have heard 3, you know, da, da, da, da. Reply to Nicholas Masseo : You are right... but the impact will likely last for 50 to 100 years. We will be lucky if we dont have inflation that destroys 50 to 75% of all our wealth. Obama will have to add tax on top of tax to pay... 25% sales tax? 30%? plus a 100% tax on energy? plus lower social security? plus health care that degrades in quality until you wouldnt trust it to care for your dog. Reply to Nicholas Masseo : Yes, the last president was just fine without a teleprompter. Also, the previous president was the one who signed the original bank bailout. He did this because the crisis started on his watch. Also, the previous president inherited a budget surplus, but blew it with unnecessary wars and tax cuts for the wealthy. What's that trickling down on our heads? Ain't money, that's for sure. Now, this president has to clean the mess. And that means money. Tax religion! Reply

Reply to Sojurner Truth : A time will soon come when Obama and his supporters will no longer be "allowed" to call mulligan at the expense Mr. Bush. Reply

Reply to Sojurner Truth : Which generation of socialist are you? we can all see you are a socialist because you daddy was and your g daddy was etc. ect. ect. It's a shame your first colored president will go down in history as the distruction of our country. If you don't see it then you are dumn or refuse to admitt he is distroying this country. Reply

Reply to Dave : I think you are the one who is blind here.........our last so called president Bush was one of the most greedy men in our world today!!! All the Bush's care about is money and do whatever it takes to get it!!! Wake up and smell the coffee. I am glad that we have an honest president this time that finally brought the truth to light and now us people cant handle the truth!!! Grow up America!! Reply

$3 million for bike grates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Benifit to expense is pure politics Clearly 100 miles of roads and sewers work ahead of something special for yuppy bikers Reply

Reply to Todd Stong : Hey Buddy, the yuppy bikers pay taxes too just like the car owners Reply

Reply to Todd Stong : Perhaps it is a bit expensive...maybe if we eliminate state bidding requirements (WBE, MBE, Prevailing Wage Requirements, excessive specification requirements) and open these projects up to competent contractors we could see a project like this completed for 1/3 the cost. BTW - I am a cyclist, car enthusiast and tax payer. Most people call me a red neck, never been called a yuppy before. Reply

Reply to Todd Stong : What about more than 3 million spent fro projects funds to pay for County employees who work 3/10 instead of 4/10 per week because Thursday is considered a Friday and nothing gets executed on this day and causes a delay to projects? What about eliminating lounge areas at Public/County employees womens RR so employees can not take 1.5- 2.0 hr naps? I am a bicyclist and an Immigrant as well and pay taxes as anybody else in this Country. Reply
