Reply to stavros333 youtube : Go for it. I say Nobama too. I am been very active in this movement to get the socialistic mongers, all of them out of our life. Why don't they get it. They will go down. Give us 2010 and our liberty back. Reply

Actually this is a pretty good project. I've just come from Europe where public transportation connections are easy, making it a more viable option. This is a connection facility for Ann Arbor buses and AMTRAK trains to Detroit and Chicago, with planned additional local trains. With the University's 40,000 students and proximity to the huge University Hospitals, Ann Arbor actually can, and does, support viable public transit. Reply

Reply to Fre Smith : that would be great if anybody actually rode the (Amtrak is subsidized by the way) train from Detroit to Chicago. Most are just going one way....away from michigan...lived there for 19 years and left when the lefty Canadian Granholm and the wrecking crew came in. Reply

You have to be kidding me! My family and I left Michigan 2 years ago due to the lack of jobs. Which we hated to do since that we were born and raised in Michigan and all of our family is there and getting closer and closer everyday to drowning. Granholm and Company need to get their heads out of their rears and start creating longtime jobs. Dont you think that the parking sturctures can wait, seeing that the unemployment rate is less and less everyday! The unemployment rate is almost 13%! Reply

Figure out how to pay for your own damn facilities! Maybe you need it or maybe you dont. I dont live there so how would I know? that is the point. I wouldnt expect you to pay for work needed in my area. Reply

Reply to Just Say No : I dont know where you live, but I will bet some of my tax dollars went to improve something near you too. You are welcome! It is called having a federal govt. Get over it. Reply

Reply to Just Say No : You probably live in a donor state that is getting back more federal taxes than it pays. Michigan has been supporting your kind for years. Reply

It is weird that so many people voted for this one, but nobody commented on it yet. I dont know why there is so much interest in it, but it does seem like this sort of stuff does need to get done and 16 jobs is better than none. Reply

Reply to ELH : 16 jobs are better than none even short time, I live in Rome, Ga. and the unemployeement rate here is 11.3% or so say it many people are unemployeedthat are not being counted. My brother just got laid off and he had to move in with us a year ago because of under employeement and many people that are working now such as my wife are working 25 to 35 hrs per week, maybe, when I was laid off the company keep immigrants and I can guarantee their papers are counterfit,it is very common in these parts.
