This notice is provided for information purposes only. This opportunity is available only to contractors under the Smithsonian Institution's IDIQ 8(a) program. This procurement is for the replacement of the roof and exterior renovation of the Research Hill Buildings (Project No. 0633111), which include, the Necropsy and Biological Research Buildings, the Veterinary Hospital and the Lion and Tiger Complex (Project No. 0633105). The North Amercan Industry Code (NAICS)is 236220 and the annual size standard is $33.5 million. The extimated value of this procurement is between $1,00,000 to $3,000,000. It is the intent of the Smithsonian Institution to award a frim fixed price construction contract to the offeror whose price is most advantagious. Davis Bacon Wages in effect for Washington, DC will privail.
