MDR-11-10 MESA COUNTY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NUMBER MDR-11-10 General Contractors to Construct a Grand Valley Transit Repair Facility The Board of County Commissioners of the County of Mesa, Colorado by and through its Director of Purchasing and Risk Management, on behalf of the Mesa County Facilities & Parks Division is accepting Quotations from Contractors and/or other companies interested in providing all labor, tools, equipment and materials to construct a Grand Valley Transit Repair Facility at 971B Coffman Road, Whitewater, CO 81527 as specified in Mesa County Request for Quotation Number MDR-11-10. Beginning at 8:30 AM on May 11, 2010 until June 10, 2010 at 5:00 P.M.; copies of the RFQ Number MDR-11-10 and all associated Quotation documents will be available for a fee at two (02) locations: Location A: Plaza Reprographics & Supply at 141 N. 3rd Street, Grand Jct, CO 81501; Point of contact Karen or Kara at phone 970-243-1725 or e-mail karen@plazarepro.com. Location B: LK Survey, 575 25 Road Grand Jct., CO 81505; point of contact Kristy at phone 970-241-1177 or e-mail Jobs@lksurvey.com. Copies of the RFQ and associated specifications/drawings will also be available for review at the Western Colorado Contractors Association (ph: 970-245-1384) located at 2470 F Road, Suite #14, Grand Junction, CO and at the ABC Plan Room (ph: 970-243-7951) located at 2754 Compass Drive, Suite #305, Grand Junction, CO. Quotations must be received by 2:00 PM on Friday, June 11, 2010 at the Mesa County Purchasing & Risk Management Division, 544 Rood Ave., 2nd Floor, Grand Jct, CO and clearly marked Response to Request for Quotation Number MDR-11-10??. There will be a MANDATORY ??PRE-QUOTATION MEETING?? which will start at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Community Building at the Mesa County Fairgrounds located at 2785 US Highway 50, Grand Junction, CO 81503. Contractors that do not have a representative at this Mandatory Pre-Quotation Meeting will not be qualified to submit a Quotation for any of the work referenced in this RFQ. This Project is being funded by Federal Transportation Administration Funds through the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Therefore, applicable Federal regulation(s) shall apply. The successful Contractor will be required to comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and certify they have read and understand all Quotation documents, contract clauses, attachments and certifications. Mesa County encourages Disadvantaged Business Enterprises to submit Quotations. Mesa County affirms that any Quotation received from a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in the consideration of an award. Mesa County is an Equal Opportunity employer. The most responsible Quotation will be determined by criteria determined essential to Mesa County. The criteria is not limited to the lowest price. Mesa County reserves the right to reject all Quotations, reject portions of any Quotation, or accept the Quotation deemed most advantageous to Mesa County. Mesa County may cancel this RFQ at any time and for any reason. One supplier may or may not be selected for all items. This RFQ will be non-exclusive. Mesa County reserves the right to purchase any supplies or services from other vendors.
