Reply to Whocares : Why is it that "socialism" is always bad? I wonder if thats a question you've ever thought to answer or do you just think its bad because Regan said so and his word is gospel. Reply

Reply to Still sick of you lame-o's : Maybe someday the rest of us will be formulating our opinions based on the views of Michael Moore, Bill Maher, Nancy ("the CIA lies") Pelosi and the honorable(?) Al Franken. If you have such an issue with the AM "ditto heads" then you should be calling in and fighting the allegations of these individuals all being accused of "large scale fabrications" aka lies. Unless, of course, integrity has nothing to do with it and in that the case I understand exactly where you're coming from. Reply

They reduced the broadcast power as well. For the cost of the coupons being offered to those redeemed, the final cost per reciever claimed by coupons to the US taxpayer is $2700.00 per box, with 97% of the coupons paid for but never used Reply

Broadcast was planning to convert anyways without government help. They got to government to do the coupons instead of them reducing to new recievers price for those who do not have cable. Then they extended the time to make sure the coupons went out. News flash, most people were ready for the change out back in January and very few used those stupid coupons...why. Some areas the was recieving analog broadcast but were not connected to cable are beyond the new Digital broadcast range. Reply
