This e-mail list is for alcoholics who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (a.k.a. Mormons). It is a place for us to come and discuss with others about our recovery and share our experience, strength, and hope from our LDS viewpoint. The moderator will post a passage from AA approved literature on Wednesdays, and from LDS scripture on Sundays, to stimulate discussion. This is a support list but it is not meant to take the place of regular AA meetings or counsel from Priesthood authorities. This list welcomes recovery related prayer requests and LDS minded cross talk. Moderator holds the right to ask people to take a spirit of contention elsewhere. This list is not sponsored by or affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints or Alcoholics Anonymous. The moderator is a recovering alcoholic who wishes to express her recovery in terms of the LDS Higher Power , as she understands Him.
